Netflix's House of Cards Season 4 was premiered in March 2016 and just after watching the tenth and the final episode of the show, fans started to speculate about Season 5.

Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright starrer House of Cards Season 5 will premiere around March 2017 and it is believed that the show runners will try to portray the American politics in its rawness.

In House of Cards, Academy Award winner Spacey portrays the role of ruthless and arrogant Frank Underwood, who is battling with the ongoing election and the physical pain which the liver transfer has been causing him. According to Spacey, the show is not following the current election but somehow the writing of the show is so pure that whatever they show in fiction, happens in reality.

During his conversation with Stephen Colbert on his show, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Spacey said that in all the seasons they all have worked so far, it happened every time that they somehow portray the true American politics, even without reading the headlines.

"We have the writers, we have discussed the storylines, where we want to go, the arc of the show, we write it, we film it and then just before it airs, something that we have done happens in real life. In every season this has happened."

It was previously reported that the show's co-creator Beau Willimon has left the Netflix's political thriller drama series. Spacey stated in his interview with Independent that Willimon's exit will not affect the quality of the show as they still have the same team of writers. However, it is also reported that 38-year-old Willimon is still unofficially part of the team.

"Beau and I began these conversations, as we did every year, sort of about midway through the shooting of the previous seasons. So, much has been discussed, much has already been put on the table, lots of interesting ideas ... we're excited now that the writing process is happening," Spacey further added.

Well, it's still a yearlong process and we just hope that in the meantime, Netflix will renew House of Cards for more seasons.
