'Teen Mom 2' Leah Messer Birthday With Daughters After Twitter Rant Bashing MTV!

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer has been fighting against the producers of the hit reality series after she has been portrayed as a bad mother throughout this season. However, it wasn't until her dinner with second ex-husband Jeremy Calvert was shown on this past week's episode that she took her feud with MTV to the next level calling it a "fake a** show" on Twitter. Now, we have learned what led to Leah's Twitter rant, especially now that it's her birthday weekend.

"Leah wrote that because the show cut out everything on Jeremy's side," a source told PEOPLE. "He was the one who was begging her to come back and to give him another chance. He was the one that coordinated the date and to try to make it work."

"The show was edited to make it seem like she was the one doing it and didn't show anything about Jeremy, and she wanted to set the record straight," the source continued.

It's perplexing that Leah would only be upset about that because the former rehab patient was also shown to be drunk during their dinner.

"I'm 99.9 % sure those feelings were mutual. I could go in detail, but won't. Oh, how I love this fake a** TV show. #SoOverIt," she tweeted.

At least the West Virginia mom has something to look forward to. Her birthday is April 24, but decided to celebrate a little early by taking her daughters to the circus. She captioned an Instagram picture of the Ringling Bros. "Circus Xtreme" tickets, "Celebrating my birthday at the circus with 3 amazing little girlies! There isn't any other way this Mommy would have it!!"
