Hugh Jackman will be hanging his claws as superhero/mutant for good next year with the still-untitled Wolverine movie -- but it turns out we'll get to see him one more time before he says goodbye to the role! The last trailer for this year's X-Men: Apocalypse has just been released, and Fox showed its most anticipated character at the very end!

Fox just released the third and final trailer for the newest film of the X-Men franchise, and after months of speculation on whether Jackman would be returning for this team film, he's finally teased in this new footage, though only Logan's claws are seen.

The new trailer covers a lot of new material, but most interestingly, Fox pulled a Captain America: Civil War on it, taking its cue from the second and last trailer for the Marvel Cinematic Universe film, where Tom Holland's widely expected Spider-Man was finally shown at the very last scene.

The X-Men: Apocalypse trailer seems to have ended when suddenly we're shown a hallway filled with unconscious bodies on the floor, and an impressed Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) tells Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) and Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) that they've been busy, but they tell her they've had help -- and we see Wolverine's claw.

Nobody has been in as many superhero movies as the Australian Oscar nominee. Ever since first playing Wolverine in Bryan Singer's original X-Men movie in 2000, Jackman has reprised his role in multiple films of the franchise in both timeframes. His most recent outing in the role was on 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past -- and by the time his last film in the role hits theaters next year, he'll have played the role for a total of 17 years.

To put it in perspective, Robert Downey Jr. has only been playing Tony Stark/Iron Man for eight years, and that seems like forever.

X-Men: Apocalypse will hit theaters on May 27.
