CW's Legends Of Tomorrow S01E13 Leviathan Caity Lotz, Wentworth Miller Premiere Recap

The CW Network continues with the premiere of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. In episode 13, Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) join White Canary (Caity Lotz) as they take the fight to Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) in Leviathan.

The team is in the future, where Vandal rules and orders an army. Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) recognizes the bracelet of one of the female guards. Heat Wave and Captain Cold use Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) as a distraction as Canary fights the others. Unfortunately, the army is too  much for them but Canary steals the bracelet. 

While Kendra deciphers the bracelet's meaning, Hunter and the others meet with the resistance fighters. Jax (Franz Drameh) and Martin Stein (Victor Garber) promise there will be food for the starving children. Rip tells Atom (Brandon Routh) that he has watched his son die; the universe will not change that for him.

Hunter and Ray see the fire and destruction that Savage leaves in his wake. In a past life, Kenra remembers falling in love with Carter Hall (Falk Hentschel) and kissing him. As Cold and Heat Wave take the female guard captive but the alarms sound off. She actually knows their names. The female guard happens to be Vandal's daughter, Cassandra (Jessica Sipos) and she knows every her father told her. 

Kendra will need Heat Wave to help her burn the bracelet. Trying to get into her head, Cold compares his father to Cassandra.  Mick helps Kendra make a mace out of the bracelet but he doubts she can kill Vandal. Martin and Ray realize Vandal's super weapon may actually be a person. 

Savage sends in the Leviathan to burnt the team and find his daughter. Martin gets in every refugee on board before the Waverider takes off. The team discovers Leviathan happens to be a GIANT ROBOT. The Leviathan grabs the Wavreider and toss the ship aside. 

In the wreckage, Martin has been injured. Stein asks Jax to save the refugees. Cold wants to teach Cassandra a lesson and shows her the refugees, untrained civilians who have no weapons. Cold shows Cassandra that her father did indeed unleash the virus. 

With the help of Cassandra, Hunter thinks there's still a chance. Hawkgirl now has the mace in her hands to destroy Vandal. Using the ship to power his suit, Atom grows to a colossal size. The Atom gets man-handled by the Leviathan first. 

Savage meets with his daughter and discovers the bracelet is missing. Vandal killed their mother when he unleashed the virus. As the team surrounds their enemy, Hakwgirl is able to hurt savage with the mace. The Atom shoots down the Leviathan as Cassandra saves Cold's life. 

After Atom gets knocked down, Carter is now working for Savage. If Kendra strikes him down, Savage promises Carter will never remember. The Atom gets up and knocks Leviathan's head off.

In the end, Kendra cannot kill Savage. With Savage held hostage, Cassandra joins the rebellion. Face to face, Hunter confronts Vandal in his prison.
