Season 11 of Bones continues after returning from its winter hiatus over on Fox. Are the married couple, Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) in danger of fighting "cannibals" after John Hodgins (TJ Thyne)' shocking twist!
As we previously mentioned, the team hasn't been the same since Aubrey (John Boyd) risked his life to save Hodgins as they unexpectedly found themselves near a bomb. Though the explosion sent them both to the hospital, Hodgins and Angela (Michaela Conlin) discovered the explosion has left Hodgins paralyzed. Knowing he can never walk again, Hodgins has sunk deeper into depression, becoming a bitter pill towards everyone.
In the recent EW recap, Booth and Brennan had to confront a deadly new serial killer, who was pulling their strings. With more victims piling up, Brennan started doubting herself as Booth continued the investigation solo. With Arastoo deciding not to leave the country, Cam ended her relationship with Sebastian. While Booth and Brennan cared for their daughter, this new serial killer is across town, fixated on Temperance.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly's Spoiler Room, co-showrunner and executive producer Michael Peterson dishes on what's coming up in the twentieth episode, as the tone seems to be getting darker. Knowing the episode is still months away, this gives readers a heads up on staying away from food before watching this installment. Peterson reveals, "We have an episode coming up which is sort of our take on the Donner party, so a little bit of history and cannibalism mixed in."
According to Broadway World, the Glory Road actress had a guest spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Deschanel recounts the time when she actually attempted to mail her grandparents' cremated ashes through UPS. The 39-year-old also mentions how she would have liked the twelfth season to end at 250 episodes.
Bones continues Thursdays on Fox 8pm.
