Nine years after the Gilmore Girls series finale, which left many viewers dissatisfied, Lorelai, Rory and the rest of the quirky residents of Stars Hollow will return for an encore later this year, when Netflix airs Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Ahead of that, there's a new Instagram dedicated to updates of the revival -- and the first pic features our favorite coffee place!

A few weeks back, the people behind the show launched an official Instagram account created exclusively to showcase new images (and possibly videos) of the upcoming revival, and this Wednesday, the first new snap finally showed up.

"Like all good things, we gotta start with a cup of Luke's coffee. Welcome to the Gilmore Gram," reads the mysterious new photo, which shows a place all too familiar for fans of the Amy Sherman-Palladino show: Luke's Diner, the Stars Hollow coffee place owned by Luke Danes, played by Scott Patterson.

Information regarding the events of the revival is scarce, but it seems so far everybody will be back for the new version. Previously thought to be called Gilmore Girls: Seasons, the Netflix revival of the show will consist of four 90-minute movies, each set in a different season of the year, as we find out what's happened to the many characters in the show over the past decade.

Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel and Kelly Bishop will all return as the title's Gilmore Girls, reprising their roles as Lorelai, Rory and Emily; Patterson will also come back as Luke, Lorelai's longterm love interest. As for Rory, it's impossible to know who she's ending up with: all three of her major boyfriends throughout the show (Jared Padalecki's Dean, Milo Ventimiglia's Jess and Matt Czuchry's Logan) will be returning to reprise their roles, so chances are things will become a little dramatic when it comes to her love life.

Everyone else is also returning -- even Melissa McCarthy, who has gone on to become an Emmy winner, an Oscar nominee and a Ghostbuster in the time since Gilmore Girls ended, will be reprising her role as Lorelai's best friend and business partner, Sookie.

There are a few new additions to the Gilmore Girls revival too, like Sutton Foster and Mae Whitman. Earlier this week, Cinema Blend also reported on a new cast member for the Gilmore Girls revival: British actress Alex Kingston, a Doctor Who favorite!
