Justin Timberlake fans, make sure to mark your calendars because Justin is back on stage! Justin Timberlake himself has announced his upcoming concert special, to be titled, "Justin + The Tennessee Kids" will debut on October 12, 2016 (Wednesday) on Netflix.
As reported by tvline, the film will be directed by Jonathan Demme (Silence of the Lambs), with chronicles from Justin Timberlake's 20/20 Experience World Tour, which includes the final show at the Las Vegas MGM Grand Garden Arena. The Tennessee Kids will be Timberlake's pop star's backup band for the concert.
Back in 2015, it was announced that Timberlake was teaming up with Netflix for a concert film in 2016, and that it is now coming to be a reality. Plus, the exciting new trailer is finally coming of age.
The Academy Award-winning director, Jonathan Demme, is the most trending director recently due to this massive upcoming project. Demme is best known for directing several concerts and shows such as the 1991 classic, Silence of the Lambs and 2004's The Manchurian Candidate. He is also experienced in concert films.
Previously, Demme was found at the helm of the Talking Heads' 1984 live performance film, Stop Making Sense, as well as Neil Young: Heart of Gold, as reported by Complex.
Justin Randall Timberlake, on the other hand, was first seen in the boyband N'Sync as the lead singer. He grew his solo career as an American singer, songwriter, record producer and actor. Timberlake was born in Memphis, Tennessee, where he appeared on television shows such as the Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera when he was a child.
On October 2012, Timberlake married actress Jessica Biel, and they were blessed with a healthy son.
