“Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Update: Crazy Mary; Radcliffe Hides Aida, Fall of Avengers

Warning, this post contains "Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." spoilers. Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4, episode 3 entitled 'Uprising' had to be cancelled October 4 to make way for the US Vice Presidential Debates. It will air on October 11 instead with a few plot twists that will leave fans at the edge of their seats.

'Uprising' will feature a new Melinda May, played by Ming Na Wen. In the previous episodes, May was infected by some kind of mysterious toxin that has caused her to lose her mind. She became very dangerous and posed a threat to her team. In the last episode, she was placed in a straightjacket to control her.

And not only is May a threat to the team, her condition is getting worse each episode. Phil Coulson, played by Clark Gregg and Jemma Simmons played by Elizabeth Henstridge may not be able to save her in time. If SHIELD loses May, they risk losing an efficient leader especially those who just recently joined the team. Therefore, as dangerous as May is to everyone, they have to keep her alive to save her and save SHIELD.

HWHills posted the official synopsis for 'Uprising' from ABC's promo clip shown after episode 3 last week. The synopsis included a warning that Simmons and Dr. Radcliffe only have a few house to save Mary before she is lost forever to her mysterious condition.

Aside from May's illness, 'Uprising' will also further reveal what Holden Radcliffe, played by John Hannah, is hiding. IB Times reported that Radcliffe and Leo Fitz, played by Lain De Caestecker, decided to hide Aida a Life Model Decoy from Simmons. The news of Aida was also seen on the ABC video teaser for 'Uprising.'

Meanwhile, inhuman activities will cause a lot of trouble for SHIELD as they protest on the streets. The group is against inhuman registration by Sokova Accords which leads to ultimate control of the government. In Marvel comic books, the inhuman uprising will cause the downfall of The Avengers. In 'Uprising' the protesters will take advantage of black out to do their will.

Coulson on the other hand is pretty preoccupied with a new mission assigned to him by the SHIELD director. This new mission has also kept him from helping Mary and the rest of the team.
