Xiaomi Mi Mix Update: Release Date, Features, Price, and Specs!

November 4 is the expected release date of the new Xiaomi's Mi Mix phone. The Mi Mix has extensive features and specs that tech enthusiasts and gadget fans will surely love, aside from the lower price than Apple and Samsung smartphones.

According to Computer World, Xiaomi held a launch event last Tuesday in Beijing to introduce Mi Mix flagship as well as the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 which are both near bezel-less concept phone. Through the event, the specs, features and release date of Xiaomi Mi Mix was revealed.

Further reports opened up that Xiaomi Mi Mix release date of November 4 in China is now official at the price of 3,999 yuan or almost $590. By then, Apple and Samsung will follow to release their new smartphone models to intentionally beat the popularity of Mi Mix.

The Mi Mix will feature a fingerprint reader and HD audio playback and supports LTE Cat 11, as per Itech Post. More so, the download speed will increase its rate for up to 600Mbps using a tri-carrier aggregation.

Furthermore, the vast majority of the Xiaomi Mi Mix smartphone will cover a 6.4-inch 2040 x 1080 display screen, with an up to 6GB RAM of LPDDR4 type, and a maximum capacity of 256GB of UFS 2.0 internal storage. Also, Mi Mix is supported by Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core processor that runs at 2.35GHz with an Adreno 530 GPU.

Just like other China phones, Xiaomi's Mi Mix will have the slot for two SIM cards for nano. Likewise, it is expected to have a 16-megapixel snapper primary camera with a dual-LED, dual tone flash. Wherein the camera will allow you to shoot 4K video, plus a 5-megapixel front camera and a 3.5mm jack.

The Mi Mix will work thru the Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 technology on Android 6.0 Marshmallow which comes pre-installed together with the Xiaomi's MIUI 8 OS. Xiaomi Mi Mix weighs only 209 grams and measures at a dimension of 158.8 x 81.9 x 7.9mm.

Meanwhile, the Mi Mix will highlight its near bezel-less display with curved edges on top a little bit similar to Apple's iPhones. Also, it will have the highlight of piezoelectric acoustic ceramic earpiece speaker and ultrasonic proximity sensor.

For gadget fans that chose to be economical, the features and specs of Xiaomi's Mi Mix have everything that expensive Apple and Samsung phones also have. However, the only thing questionable is the quality of the Mi Mix. Will it offer the same quality as Apple and Samsung or lower than expected?
