Blizzard has announced that their newest "Overwatch" game is scheduled for a play for free weekend for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Players will have access to 22 heroes and 13 maps in a variety of game modes including Weekly Brawl, Quick Play, and Custom Play starting 18:00 GMT on November 18 and ending on 23:00 GMT on November 21.
However, PS4 and Xbox One players must have a Playstation Plus or Xbox Live Gold membership to be able to play "Overwatch" during the free weekend. Fortunately, PC players will only need a Battle.net account to download the game. According to Blizzard, players will have the opportunity to play with no registration or sign-up codes during the free "Overwatch" weekend.
"Overwatch" Heroes and Maps Included in Free Weekend
Blizzard's website mentioned that free weekend will let players play with 22 "Overwatch" heroes and 13 different maps. Since the recent unveiling of secret hacker Sombra at the recently concluded Blizzcon 2016, the current roster of heroes in the game is at 23.
Forbes reports that the free weekend won't likely include Sombra since she is only currently playable on the PTR. "Overwatch" Season Two is also going to end on November 24 so inserting Sombra as a new playable character isn't wise as it will affect rankings.

"Overwatch" Free Weekend Progress Can Be Saved
Those who will play on the "Overwatch" free weekend may have the chance to keep Loot Boxes, skins, achievements, stats, character leveling and other customizations if the full game is purchased. The event will support 10 languages in all platforms including English, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, Brazilian and more. The current download size of the game on any platform is 12GB.
