Longtime Couple NKOTB Jonathan Knight & Harley Rodriguez are Engaged

Love birds Jonathan Knight from "New Kids on the Block" and longtime boyfriend, Harley Rodriguez are officially engaged. Knight popped the question by supermoonlight on the Zambezi River in Africa. The singer shared this amazing news to fans and followers on Sirius' "The Jenny McCarthy Show" November 15, Tuesday.

Hollywood Life reported Knight and Rodriguez's engagement. The 47-year old singer recounted the romantic event in the Sirius show. He said that he thought the time was right to propose; they were in Africa with their parents. He said that he has always considered Harley as a partner and all he wanted to do was to make it official.

Meanwhile, Harley Rodriguez said that he did not saw the proposal coming. Knight said that he proposed while they were on the scenic Zambezi River, right above Victoria Falls. They just had a dinner on the raft with their moms. It was the most beautiful moment basked by the glow of the huge supermoon.

US Weekly also reported Jonathan and Harley's engagement. The report said that the two met in 2008 and even raced around the world by joining "The Amazing Race." The two said before that they were serious about their relationship and it looks like this was true with Knight using Rodriguez's last name in social media.

Aside from this exciting announcement, Jonathan Knight also shared the news of New Kids on the Block concert along with Boyz II Men and Paula Abdul. Entitled the "Total Package" tour, the performers will hit more than 40 cities starting May 12. Knight announced this at Jenny McCarthy's show; Jenny's husband Donnie Wahlberg is also part of NKOTB.

So whose surname will be used? Jonathan told Jenny that he and his partner got to the point that "where it's like, 'OK, somebody's got to do it.'" The two have yet to reveal who gets to use whose surname.
