Katy Perry Donated $5K To TLC Kickstarter Album!

It's good to have girlfriends. Katy Perry showed today that TLC has a friend in her, as she just donated $5,000 to the band in order for them to complete a new musical album. The band made up of Tionne 'T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas got the surprise from Perry, as she pledged the money to the Kickstarter account that they just recently set up to fund their final musical project together. Some unruly New Kids on the Block Fans reportedly attacked Aaron Carter last night in Boston. The reasoning behind this alleged attack was either because Carter is another pop star performing on the "turf" of NKOTB, or because he is the younger brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter and that Boston prefers its hometown boy band. “Boston Strong: An Evening of Support and Celebration” is a charity concert event that will be held at Boston's TD Garden Arena on May 30 to benefit the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings which took place on April 15, 2013. Several acts have been confirmed, including Aerosmith, New Kids on the Block, and Jason Aldean. All proceeds will go towards The One Fund Boston, an organization set up by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino to aid those most affected by the devastating violence.
