USA Today claims that there had been a real-life affair with Han Solo and Princess Leia 40 years ago during the first 'Star Wars' set on film. Carrie Fisher cannot keep the secret anymore, that's why she had revealed it at People Magazine.
The three-month-long romance occurred in 1976, as per Global News. By that time, Harrison Ford was 33-years old and already tied a knot with someone, while Carrie Fisher was 19 at that time.
It was an 'intense' affair according to Carrie, and they have settled to keep the relationship secret for 40 years during the filming or the 'Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.'
Carrie said, "It was so intense. It was Han and Leia during the week and then it was Carrie and Harrison during the weekend." However, right before Carrie reveals their secret affair, she sent Harrison advance notice in her new memoir.
Meanwhile, it was at the birthday party of 'Star Wars' director George Lucas, when Carrie and Harrison shared their first night together. Carrie admits that she was doubtful at that time about their possible future from the start.
"I was so inexperienced, but I trusted something about Harrison at that time. He was kind," Carrie said during the interview for the magazine. To note, she was only 19-year old at that time and totally inexperienced with anything.
She further stated, "I looked over at Harrison," A hero's face- a few strands of his hair fell over his noble, with the slightly furrowed brow. How could you ask such a shining specimen of a man to be satisfied with the likes of me?
Now, at 60, Carrie Fisher, can't keep her past secret affair with Harrison Ford anymore. She also added that the 'intense' secret affair they both had a couple of 'Star Wars' and at real life ended eventually when the filming of the movie wrapped.
