Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson hasn't been particularly shy about displaying his anger earlier this year at unnamed co-stars at the set of the upcoming movie "Fast 8." There is reason to believe that the former wrestling champion was throwing shade at Vin Diesel and it was caused by the latter's unprofessionalism for constantly being late to the filming.
It was in August this year that Johnson called out some of his "Fast 8" costars for being unprofessional "candy a**es*." He added that if his fans saw something off in some scenes of him in the movie, he warns that it is because of his sour mood from him, other stars and the crew for having to wait for Diesel to arrive to the set.
According to the report by ET Online, Diesel's habitual tardiness has caused Johnson to blow off that they aren't good terms with each other even after "Fast 8" has wrapped up.
In a recent interview with Los Angeles Times, Johnson has reiterated that he has no remorse about the things that he said of Diesel.
Johnson's outspokenness had him saying that his opinions of Diesel has not changed and while he talked with Universal Pictures, the issue became bigger than he intended as publications started writing about it.
Furthermore, the outlet revealed that the former wrestling star has been good with his word to be more authentic with himself and his dealings in Hollywood. Johnson revealed that he once hid his tattoos and tried to cover up his wrestling past until he realized that he wanted more to be like himself.
His decision to just be himself has worked for him as he is involved in many projects and upcoming movies including "Moana," "Jumanji 2" and "Fast 8" which is set to be released on April 14, 2017.
