It has been revealed that "Tekken 7" will incorporate a new Story Mode feature designed to let players glimpse into the backgrounds of the fighters. A new cinematic trailer for the game delves into new gaming elements and stories in rapid-fire sequences.
"Tekken 7" arcade has been released in Japan for almost a year but the PS4, Xbox One and PC version of the game is yet to come in 2017. In the trailer, a Story Mode feature was introduced and it has been reported that players can expect to know more about what's going on in the Mishima family particularly between Heihachi and Kazuya, according to iDigital Times.
A new character named Claudio Serafino who is a leader of Archers Sirius was also introduced. It looks like he will play a vital role in "Tekken 7" as the Mishima Zaibatsu tries to involve him and his group to join the clan. Furthermore, Heihachi's adopted soon Lee Chaolan will once again return to fight in the King of Iron Fist tournament under his own company Violet Systems as a direct opposition of the Mishima family.
"Tekken 7" producer Katsuhiro Harada has not revealed much with regards to the content of the Story Mode. He said in an interview with GameSpot that players can expect to know more about the story of the characters with the extra content they're rolling out for the home version.
The producer added that they have made the story mode of "Tekken 7" to be more immersive as the health or status of the chosen character of the player may change the course of the game. The standard battle has been changed to accommodate the different stories of the characters as players progress through the King of Iron Fist tournament.
There is no exact date for the release of "Tekken 7" other than it will be released in early 2017.
