Good news to all OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T wannabe owners, now that the company has announced that the two phones will be their Flagship products at least until the end of 2016.
The renowned company has announced that the two phones will feature the latest Android 7.1 Nougat if everything goes as planned. Moreover, users will enjoy up to 6 Gigs of RAM and a stable Snapdragon 820 processor in both phones.
The company was, however, adamant to differentiate between the two smartphones and instead argued that the OP3 and OP3T are one and the same product. That's they won't upgrade one and leave out the other. According to Peekerscitech the company tried to bring out an impression that software updates for the two phones will be done simultaneously. Actually, they made it clear that the company treats them as two different versions of the same phone.
Phonearena further pointed out that these phones might also receive a new User Interface, to correct the very many bloatware setbacks in traditional android phones. The additional RAM will help in installation of more apps than in previous OnePlus phones like OnePlus 2. Installation of duplicate apps won't be possible in both phones since the new bloatware free UI upgrade will prevent this from happening. This implies that the phones will run almost as smoothly as an iPhone. The phones' design will also be revised, although the traditional bezels and curved edges in preceding OnePlus phones will still be maintained.
These two phones are expected to top in sales and remain as the company's flagship phones, at least for the first half of 2017. Even so, most people in the tech world are still curious why the company had to abandon using their own Hydrogen and Oxygen OS for their new flagship phones. Why would OnePlus use the latest Android 7.1 Nougat, yet they have their own two operating systems that are functional and running? Most likely, the company felt threatened by their competitor phones for 2017. Actually, there is a likelihood that their two operating systems won't be as good as Android 7.1 Nougat and that's probably the reason.
