Get Ready Seaport! Grace VanderWaal is Coming at the Holiday Tree Lighting Event

One of the most popular Yuletide event at the Seaport District NYC is the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. This year will be the event's 33^rd and will be one of the most special because it will feature Suffern native Grace VanderWaal.

Grace's special appearance at the annual event was announced at the South Street Seaport site. The Hallmark Channel-presented event will be held at Fulton Street and will signal the start of the yuletide season celebration in the area. Grace VanderWaal will be with the Vy Higgensen's Gospel Choir of Harlem.

Grace is the winner of the 2016^th season of "America's Got Talent." Fresh from her appearance at the Macy's annual Thanksgiving Day Parade, she will surely sing songs from her first ep called "Perfectly Imperfect." Fans will surely gather to hear her sing 'I Don't Know My Name' which was also the song that she sang during her performance at AGT.

Called "the next Taylor Swift" by none other than Simon Cowell himself, Grace has skyrocketed to fame after her win. She immediately signed up with Columbia Records and had two Las Vegas shows after. Her ep "Perfectly Imperfect" will be out on December 2 with pre-orders available now.

Grace tweets at least every day and her latest are about her dogs Kuro and Frankie. When she's not out there bringing warm tunes and joy to her fans she is busy taking care of her dogs and even training them to do tricks. She took Frankie to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade wearing a dog sweater to keep him from freezing. Meanwhile, Grace also wore cute cat earmuffs and fingerless mittens while performing at the event.

The 33^rd Annual Holiday Tree Lighting at the Seaport will be on November 29 at exactly 6:30 p.m. organizers of the event announced that this will be a rain or shine event so people are advised to carry umbrellas, ponchos or waterproof shoes in case of inclement weather.
