Despite several rumors, Eminem's new album won't be arriving before 2016 ends. New reports, however, are suggesting that the much-awaited album will be coming out early 2017.
Titled "Success", iTech Post reports that the massive 21-track album is scheduled to hit the shelves on January 25. The songs, which are said to between three to six minutes each, would have the rapper collaborating with several artists like Mastein in the song 'Bulletproof' and Chance the Rapper in 'Everyday'.
Several outlets are also saying that the Grammy-winner singer Adele will be working with Slim Shady on the title track 'Success'. And while there are some that see the collaboration between the 'Hello' singer and the King of Hip-Hop would be unlikely, it would be interesting to see how the song comes out.
No official announcement, though, has been given by either Eminem or the producers of the upcoming album regarding the new release date. It would be best to take the details with a grain of salt.
On other news, Eminem's first album, Infinite, is getting a facelift after 20 years. According to Ecumenical News, The Funky Bass Brothers, who were the original producers of the album, are working on a remastered version, which came out on 1996. The album, originally released by Web Entertainment, was met with mixed reviews and was able to sell about a thousand copies. Praises were given for the artist's lyrical style, but the production itself received a lot of criticism.
And while his first album was considered to be a failure commercially, it did, however, start the career of Eminem, also known as "Marshall Mathers III". He would later on meet up with Dr. Dre, which would later give the world "The Slim Shady LP", the album that would catapult the rapper into stardom. The upcoming "Success" would be the rapper's ninth studio album since Infinite.
