Gionee M2017 Specs and Features: 7,000mAh battery and 6GB RAM

Gionee M2017 is officially out in China with a hefty price tag. The smartphone is amazingly made and one of the best features the phone holds is its 7,000mAh battery and 6GB of RAM.

The Gionee M2017 premium smartphone was launched especially for the Chinese market at a hefty base price of CNY 6,999. Another Gionee M2017 version with Italian custom alligator leather back panel is also released at CNY 16,999. There are no reports on the availability of phone in other tech markets of the world.

According to Z Gionee, the smartphone is a dual-SIM phone which sports a 5.7-inch QHD with 1440x2560 pixels AMOLED display with curved edges, sapphire glass, and an impressive pixel density of 518ppi.

Processor: Under the hood, the Gionee M2017 is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653. The processor has a four Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 1.95GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.44GHz SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM. The new Gionee M2017 runs on Amigo 3.5 UI based Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Battery: The Gionee M2017 is featured with two 3500mAh batteries providing total battery capacity of 7000mAh. The battery is reported to support Quick Charge 3.0. The Gionee M2017 Smartphone is claimed to have a video playback time of up to 25.89 hours and a standby time of 915.42 hours.

Camera and Storage: The Gionee M2017 is having a dual-camera setup with 12-megapixel and 13-megapixel lens at the rear, with a support for 2X optical zoom and 8X digital zoom. The front shooter is constituted with an 8-megapixel. Looking onto the storage of the phone, it is incorporated with an inbuilt storage of 128GB with no option of expansion via microSD card.

Other Features: The phone has some amazing features like a fingerprint scanner at front for advanced security and comes with a textured back for premium feel, the connectivity options include 4G, GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi, a USB Type-C port and the phone is available in a Black and Gold color variant. It is also reported that the headphone jack is absent in this newly launched Smartphone.
