The users of the Google Pixel phone have reported concerns over the battery, many say that it is getting shutdown quite abruptly.
The Nexus 6P happens to be Google's smartphone from last year and is quite a compelling device in the market. However, last week many have reported battery issues where the phone gets switched off when battery still has 39-40% remaining, few shutting down when battery has 15-17% remaining.
Users started facing this issue just after updating their device to Android Nougat 7.0. The same problems were faced in the Google Pixel devices too.
The Google Pixel and Pixel XL were released only a few months back, both devices apparently have received a lot of praise from tech experts and first time users. However, plenty of software and hardware problems have affected the device. Some of the issues include camera problems, defects in units and audio problems, now few devices are facing battery shutdown problems.
A user with a username Hadds on the Google product forum, has mentioned that everytime his battery percentage in Pixel device gets to 25%, the phone gets switched off and it will shows 0% battery left when he tried to switch on again.
Hadds tried to fix this issue by by force stopping apps but to no avail, and the issue keeps on taking place on a daily basis.
Another Pixel user reported that he bought the device just a month ago and is facing similar battery shutdown issues. In the last five days, his device got shutdown abruptly in between and in both the instances, the battery remaining was around 25-35%.
In another case, a user reported a Pixel battery shutdown at 76% and another time at 57%. The company has yet to come out with a response to these but it seems like Pixel problems are not as widespread as the problems that were faced Nexus 6P users.
