Reports dating back in September states that the company was officially announcing the recall of the Galaxy Note 7 smartphones following the reported explosions. "The Samsung Note 7 smartphone battery has the potential of overheat and burn, posing a potential fire hazard. Health Canada and Samsung Canada have received one report of a phone battery overheating. No injuries have been reported.

Samsung has received over 70 reported cases in the US," said further reports. The battery explosions subsequently forced the South Korean tech giant to permanently ban the device. While there were many speculations regarding what exactly caused the battery to explode, none of the statements were officially given by the company itself.

A recent video posted by Auto World News explains why Samsung recalled over 2 million Note 7 devices over the past two months. Questions like: What part of the smartphone failed? Why were there battery issues? Are the batteries now safe? Can Samsung be trusted again and more are answered in this video. The Galaxy Note 7 fiasco is believed to be among the biggest controversies in the history of tech industry. The device has managed to cause enough ruckus in many people's life, some even experienced a threat to their lives.

Recently, the JoongAng Illbo newspaper published an article that suggests that the company is all set to announce the results of the investigation that they conducted to discover the reason behind the device's failure.

In an effort to revive their somewhat lost glory, the company is also planning on launching their most-speculated smartphone - Samsung Galaxy S8 in the coming month. Several reports suggest that the Samsung S8 may have its own version of Airpods, i.e. wireless in-ear headphones. According to a report published by Express, Samsung is looking forward to releasing its own wireless in-ear headset along with the speculated Galaxy S8 device.
