Asus has made a grand unveiling of its devices at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017, Las Vegas. The company unveiled the upgraded version of ZenBook 3 called as ZenBook 3 Deluxe.
Asus launched its previous model ZenBook 3 into the tech market in May 2016. The device looked like a Windows-powered MacBook. Now, the company all set to bring in the updated version of it which will take head-to-head with MacBook Pro.
According to The Verge, the newly launched ASUS ZenBook 3 Deluxe packs a much larger display in comparison to its previous predecessor. The device is seen with thin bezels on the display to squeeze this screen inside a smaller form factor which measures a 14-inch display with full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) resolutions.
The previous version of ZenBook 3 had one single USB-C port, whereas the newly launched model has three USB-C ports in which two of those include Thunderbolt 3 support. The device is powered by the latest Intel Core i7-7500U Kaby Lake processor coupled with up 16GB of RAM. Also, the Asus ZenBook 3 Deluxe offers up to 1TB of PCIe SSD storage.
As per the report, the Asus ZenBook 3 Deluxe keyboard has 1.2mm of key travel and has integrated a fingerprint reader on the right edge for enabling Windows Hello. The trackpad incorporated takes up wide space, making room for resting the palm while typing.
The Asus ZenBook 3 is reported to weighing 1.3kg and is 12.9mm thin and equipped with a larger battery than its predecessor, along with four Harmon Kardon speakers for improved audio. It is reported that the company has plans to release in May at a price tag of $1,699.
The Taiwanese tech giant, Asus used CES platform to launch many developments. The company launched ZenFone AR, ZenFone Zoom 3 along with ZenBook 3 Deluxe. Stay tuned for more updates.
