After the Holiday Sale for Nintendo Classic Edition, the console has once again gone out of stock. This news is not a surprise anymore since every time a Nintendo Classic Edition restock happens, it always ends up sold out. Target and Toys R Us reportedly run out of supply of the console. Tesco is holding its last stocks in their shelves.
After it is reported that the NES Classic Edition is hackable and you can add games on it, more gamers would want to have their hands on the console. Times like this make gamers want to shop online. GameStop offered the console online before, but the site crashed because of too much traffic.
The only option to buy the NES Classic Mini is through the physical stores like Toys R Us, or to pre-order from the official Nintendo site. You can also order online via Amazon or eBay, but expect that stocks might not reach these online stores before they're sold out again.
According to iTECHPOST, CEX has replenished the stocks again and players can check the stocks' availability from the official website or with NowInStock and BreekSeek. GameStop is also rumored to get new stocks available in their warehouse. Gamers who are fans of the NES Classic Edition blames the near to zero stocks to the upcoming Switch Console which will be launched this Friday. The focus in the Switch might be the reason why the NES Classic Edition is not being restocked frequently.
With the console's success, one of its game titles might have an animated series. Federation Studios' Fred Selbert confirmed that they are working on an animation project that is based on a popular video game in the market for 30 years. The animation company kept their mouths shut and no one has an idea of what video game franchise is it going to be.
