Recently Microsoft leaked information about getting into the business of manufacturing their first smartphone line. The project contains an innovated device that recreates a foldable smartphone into something else, the big news is that it could be a Window Mini-Tablet.
The foldable smartphones are still in studies by other companies like Samsung and Apple have a long way analyzing this product. Also Microsoft applied a new patent that describe a "Mobile computing device having a flexible hinge structure", according to BGR News.
The patent consider to make a foldable device 2 in one, which involves the benefit of having a small device with the functions of a mini laptop or tablet. For the company is about a foldable tablet design supported with a flexible hinge structure, which allow to switch the Surface, acting like both a Smartphone and a Tablet, shares MS Power User.
Microsoft is in beginning studies and actually is giving notes and diagrams about their process. The company filled the patent in October of 2014, indicates The Verge .
