Samsung released the new firmware update version for their Gear S3 watches. Express reported the update provides a number of stability and performance enhancements. If you have the watch, all you need to do is open up the Gear Manager application on the smartphone where you paired your Gear S3. Tap through the Settings menu, and tap "Update Gear Software". Just be sure you are connected to a Wi-Fi network so you won't use up your data plan.
Tech Aeris also reported that the latest update to the Gear S3 give it compatibility with iOS devices running iOS 9.0 or higher. The compatibility comes with the Samsung Gear Fit app that was made available in the Apple App Store. Once the app is installed, it will guide users through the pairing the iOS device with the Samsung Gear.
