Fans of Eminem have been waiting for his next album with bated breath and though there is no official announcement of the release date as yet, it looks like the rapper will be out with the treat this year.
Tripped Media reported that platinum artist, Eminem, gushed about his new track on a radio show and shared that he had tested Kendrick Lamar to ascertain if he used a ghost-writer. Since late of 2015, many are waiting for the release of his new album but 2016 ended without any glimpse of its release date. This year, many are certain that 2017 will be the year of Eminem's comeback in the music industry.
It has already been four years since Eminem released a full-length album. Last October 2016, Eminem himself announced to fans that he is indeed working for a new album. Eminem even uploaded an 8-minute video on his Twitter account, assuring his fans that his album will be controversial as he is.
The video titled as "Campaign Speech", the talented rapper can be heard rapping out and about on numerous then-current controversial topics such as Donald Trump, Colin Kaepernick, Apple Watches, police violence and Trayvon Martin. As expected of Eminem, the video unexpectedly became viral with more than 10 million hits.

On more interesting news, it was revealed that Eminem had personally let Kendrick Lamar figure out if he hired a ghost-writer, as reported by The Fader. The report allegedly came from Ed Sheeran who shared that Eminem invited Lamar to his studio for he had heard that Lamar was one of the best rapper. However, what happens next, if Lamar was correct in figuring out the mystery question, remains untold.
Meanwhile, Lamar previously was given the chance to write Eminem's verse for Love Game from the 2013 album "The Marshall Mathers LP 2". The said album is also the latest album from Eminem's collection that had successfully received the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album and saw collaborations with Rihanna, Skylar Grey, Nate Ruess, and of course, Kendrick Lamar.
The latest update from Eminem on his upcoming album was in December 2016, when he joked about a new single during his hip-hop channel Shade 45's Hannukah Radio episode in SiriusXM. Speaking of upcoming collaborations, Demi Lovato is reportedly one of those artists who could be possibly part of his album. In a March 2015 interview, Lovato revealed artists that she dreams of working with and Eminem was on the top list.
In addition, Snoop Dogg, in an interview with Rolling Stone, told that Eminem is part of a group he likes to call the "dream team." It makes sense as Snoop Dogg shared about going on tour with Dr. Dre. Many fans also push for the collaboration to happen.
