"Rick and Morty", one of the most anticipated animated series right now, is to air its third season this March. The series is said to premiere last January 9 and fans were disappointed that they never saw any Season 3 episode that day. The said date was listed on IMDB as the air date of Episode 1. After the delay, a new premiere date is already circulating on the internet.
Adult Swim still hasn't made statements about the delay. But it is expected that the January premiere is not going to happen anymore. Instead, the show is expected to premiere this March, as reported by Den of Geek.
The closest to Season 3 that fans might feast on until the official release is the three-minute sneak peek video that Adult Swim released last December. And even that video seemed a little not enough.
It appears that the production of this season is not that easy. The said reason is said to be the pressure that is hovering over the production team after the show's success in two seasons.
"It's an honor to see Rick and Morty join the exclusive club of shows over nineteen episodes," quipped co-creator Dan Harmon. Other co-creator Justin Roiland commented, "I am blown away by the seemingly instant success of Rick and Morty. I look forward to continuing their adventures!"
According to Tripped Media, there is also this "level of conscientiousness" in every episode of "Rick and Morty". Creator Dan Harmon said that he sampled one episode and he was contented. But the other episodes are not as satisfying for him. The team is giving all their best to replicate the succcess of the first two seasons.
How will Rick escape from the prison? How will he treat his family from here on? And what new adventures are waiting for him and his grandson Morty? And will a battle against a group of rats really happen? "Rick and Morty" fans will surely find out this March, so stay tuned.
