'The Originals' Season 4 Spoilers: Freya Finally Finds Love, Fans To See More Of Hope

Things are going to get pretty interesting for fans in the fourth installment of "The Originals." The show's Spoilers on the upcoming season reveals that Freya (Riley Voelkel) will fall in love again after all these years.

In the show, Freya has always been focused on taking care of and being around for her troubled family. Although there were so many opportunities for her to find love in the previous episodes of the series, it was never realized. However, the show-runner and writers now believe that it is time to give Freya something more than just a family to love.

TVLine reports that the show's executive producer, Michael Narducci said the character will find love in "The Originals" season 4, with the romantic storyline opening the doors for an emotional struggle that leads to a whole new dimension of Freya.

Although, it is still not clear what new dimension fans should expect to see in the show's upcoming season, they can be sure that it is going to be a big one, giving the transformations that some of the characters had to go through in the series.

Entertainment weekly reports that Hayley is tasked with rescuing the Mikaelsons but it will be easy if she met a new love interest on the way. The Mikaelsons will eventually escape their psychic prison, thereby, paving way for a long-awaited reunion between Elijah and Hayley, which will serve as one of the emotional cores of the fourth installment.

Narducci also teased that apart from Freya's new love and new side, fans should also expect to see more of Hope (Summer Fontana) and how she will deal with life as a hybrid. He gave a glimpse that Hope definitely shares her mother's street smarts and that the 7-year-old girl may likely not display some of her father's traits and also possessing the willingness to do whatever it takes to protect her family.

The character will play a key role in keeping the Mikaelsons intact in the upcoming season of "The Originals," but it is still not clear how a little girl will accomplish this. The trailer for the new installment however, reveals that Hope is a very intelligent child who would understand that she has to do what is necessary to keep her family together, especially for her dad. "The Originals" season 4 is scheduled to premiere March 17, 2017 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
