Yesterday, everyone's favorite walking pair of eyebrows/rapper J. Cole surprised fans with "Cole Summer," a new track from the North Carolinian. Then, he took to Twitter to announce that he was releasing a new album in Truly Yours 2, the follow-up to an EP he released in February.
Cole released the Lauryn Hill/D'Angelo sampling single, which speaks on Jay-Z, label problems and the inner workings of his own mind via Twitter.

Truly Yours 2 is not actually the new album that most Cole fans are waiting for (That would be sophomore effort Born Sinner, due out June 25th). However, the blast of new music from Cole does a lot to tide fans over.
The debut single from J. Cole's official new album "Born Sinner" is already tearing into the Top 40. The Miguel featuring track has been viewed over 5 million times on YouTube. Check it out below if you can't get enough (totally unintentional, I swear) J. Cole.
What do you think? Do you like "Cole Summer"? Are you excited for Cole's new album? Do efforts like Truly Yours and Truly Yours 2 help take your mind off the wait for a proper studion album?
