"Red Dead Redemption 2" details may be unveiled later in the first week of February as the game producer will send out the pre-order cards to different retailers. The game will release on Xbox One and PS4 as well as on PC. However, Rockstar Games do not have any planning to release it on Nintendo Switch.
"Red Dead Redemption 2" will be available on sale from February 5 and a big announcement may follow the release, reports Express. However, another major update is expected on the same day as it coincides with the Super Bowl.
According to reports, Rockstar Games may think of coming up with a brand new trailer of "Red Dead Redemption 2" during the Super Bowl. The game developer may use the same platform also to reveal the release date of the sequel. So, a lot would be happening when the fans are exposed to the sequel's pre-order announcement live.
Rockstar posted a pre-order card of RDR2 to Reddit encouraging speculation regarding the release of the pre-order on February 5, reports iDigital Times. At present, reports indicate that the release date of "Red Dead Redemption 2" is set in autumn 2017. However, several leaked reports say that it can be as early as October.
One retail chain has said that the sequel will release on October 2. However, another retailer differs with this date and says that the launch will be somewhere at the end of the same month. But fans are expecting that if Rockstar makes the announcement during the Super Bowl, it will definitely throw light on the exact release date of "Red Dead Redemption 2."
Usually, video games are mostly launched during October and November. So early October release maybe a better idea to catch up some pre-season response before other games make their foray into the market. The introduction of this multiplayer game will, however, may oust another popular game from the same developer- "Grand Theft Auto 5."
