"Suits" Season 6 Episode 12 is titled "The Painting" and it promises to show viewers a deeper look at Harvey's family. In the previous seasons, fans have seen Harvey interacting with his father, but his mother was never shown. The deep-seated anger he feels towards his mother has often been pointed out as the root cause of Harvey's trust issues.
When the second half of "Suits" Season 6 premiered this January, Harvey (Gabriel Macht) was not in a good situation. After Jessica (Gina Torres) left, he and Louis (Rick Hoffman) failed to see eye to eye. He yelled at his fellow named partner before Donna (Sarah Rafferty) told him to see to his personal problems. Jessica was Harvey's mentor and he had a personal, not-quite-mother-son relationship with her. Her departure left him shaken.
Donna tells him to go home and talk to his mother, who had cheated on his father. Harvey had never been able to forgive her. Executive producer Aaron Korsh told TV Guide that there will be some flashbacks in "Suits" Season 6 Episode 12 about Harvey and his mother.
Korsh said that Episode 12 will be different from usual "Suits" episodes. Fans will see Harvey's mother's infidelity and his burden in keeping it a secret from his father. Another thing that fans will see in the upcoming episode is that Mike (Patrick J. Adams), whose short teaching job at Father Walker's church ends suddenly, will receive help from an unlikely source.
CarterMatt believes that it could be Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce), but that might not even work considering Mike is trying to turn over a new leaf. After his stint in prison, he has grown tired of the lying and back-stabbing that happens a lot in his old world.
There are very few options for Mike right now, but Korsh is keeping silent on that topic, although he assures fans that the genius will be reunited with his friends and former colleagues, but in what capacity? To find out, watch "Suits" Season 6 Episode 12 on the USA Network at 10 PM on Feb. 1, 2017.
