There's another good news in store for fans of Queen Bey. Beyoncé will perform at the 2017 Grammy Awards scheduled to be held next week. This comes just a day after she broke the internet with the announcement of her second pregnancy. On Wednesday, Beyoncé took to Instagram to announce that she and her husband Jay-Z are expecting twins.
The 35-year-old pop queen who is nominated in nine categories for her 2016 hit "Lemonade" will perform at the Grammys 2017, reports Entertainment Online. On Thursday, Beyoncé was spotted rehearsing in Los Angeles. She was accompanied by her dancers and a camera crew.
Beyoncé's Grammy performance was also confirmed by her father Mathew Knowles, reports The Insider. He revealed how he got shocked when he started receiving congratulatory messages for his daughter's second pregnancy. Knowles also revealed that after the announcement he had a good chat with Beyoncé over a call and she "sounded a little tired because she has been working on her Grammy performance." This will be her first performance since announcing her pregnancy.
Beyoncé announced her pregnancy on Instagram with a photo of hers where she is dressed just in underwear and a tulle veil. Beyoncé is seen cradling her 'twin bump' in the photo with a caption which reads: "We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes - The Carters."
Beyoncé and Jay-Z who have been married for nine years will now become parents for the second time. They already have a five-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, who was born in 2012. Rumors of Beyoncé being pregnant started when some of her fans spotted, what they claimed was, a baby bump in a video from her clothing line, Ivy Park. The video was taken down immediately when the rumors started doing the round.
