After the epic finale of "Stranger Things" Season 1, showrunners let the fans remain hanging as to when is the exact air date for its second season. The ambiguous announced date stated that the next season will premiere on the late 2017.
However, we episode titles for "Stranger Things" Season 2 were released despite the non-existent official air dates. The titles were released earlier "to provide some hint of where we were going in season two without giving anything away, " according to director and creator Matt Duffer. But, he further explained that there is still the possibility that some of the titles will be changed later.
The good news as reported by Trusted Reviews is that the "Stranger Things" Season 2 will contain nine episodes, which is more compared to the prior season. Here's the full Stranger Things Season 2 episode list: Episode 1 - "Madmax; Episode 2 - "The Boy Who Came Back to Life"; Episode 3 - "The Pumpkin Patch"; Episode 4 - "The Palace"; Episode 5 - "The Storm"; Episode 6 - "The Pollywog"; Episode 7 - "The Secret Cabin"; Episode 8 - "The Brain"; and Episode 9 - "The Lost Brother."
In relation to that, almost all characters will be returning for "Stranger Things" Season 2. However, a new addition will be joining the talented cast. The latest cast member is Sean Astin playing the character of Bob Newby. Astin famously played the role of Samwise Gamgee, accomplished Shire gardener and buddy of Hobbit Frodo Baggins, in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy.
Netflix commented that the character of Bob Newby a kindhearted former nerd who went to high school with Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Hopper (David Harbour), and now manages the local Hawkins RadioShack, according to Games Radar. Meanwhile, Netflix also assured the fans of "Stranger Things" that even Barb was killed in the previous season, "Barb will not be forgotten in season 2," Ross Duffer explains. "I will say that much. There will be a lot of talk about Barb. She is still dead. "Stranger Things" Season 2 is confirmed to air on Netflix later this year.
