'Longmire' Season 6 To Continue Filming In March, Last Run Will Be Epic!

"Longmire" Season 6 is bound to return to the small screens. However, at the time, filming is on hiatus and will continue in March. Here's the latest scoop about your favorite TV series from Netflix.

When the production announced that "Longmire" Season 6 will wrap up the exciting and thrilling adventure of Walt Longmire and the rest of the gang, fans were disappointed. However, they remain hopeful that the network will change its mind and extend their favorite Netflix series.

At the time the "Longmire" cast and crew have been filming for their last season already. Production will continue in March where the stars will descend in New Mexico, Cartermatt reported.

"Longmire" star Lou Diamond Phillips confirmed that they will be back with filming two months from now. Meanwhile, Katee Sackhoff teased that she is very excited to return shooting. The star teased that the finale will be "epic."

Craig Johnson's book can go on for an extended time. However, since its TV adaptation is drawing to its end, the burden of wrapping up each character's conclusion in the plot weighs on the network. The "Longmire" Season 6 finale need not be tied to its source materials so it remains unsure how the writers will give the story its well-deserved ending.

It can be recalled that it took time for Netflix to renew "Longmire" Season 6. Fans have started to call the network's attention by spreading the hashtag #RenewLongmireNetflix.

Many believe that the last season has left a number of cliffhangers that needs to be addressed or their beloved season will go to waste. Thankfully, Netflix complied but unfortunately, "Longmire" Season 6 will be the last.

On a side note aside from teasing fans that the final season will be epic, Katee Sackhoff also shared that "Longmire" is one of her projects that her dad loves. "At this point, my dad loved 'Longmire' and 'Riddick,'" she told  Syfy Wire.
