'The Sims 4' Update: Leaked Secret Codes Divulge Impending Arrival Of Pets Expansion Pack

The fans of "The Sims 4", Maxis' current entry to the life simulation game series will probably be seeing a new expansion of the EA's pipeline this year. Recent leaks now suggest the development of a Pets Expansion pack, following the release of Toddlers and Vampires game packs last month. But the secret codes hint the possibility that horses will not be included among the pets.

The recently leaked secret codes points toward the release of Pets Expansion Pack for "The Sims 4."   The latest update gathered by SimsCommunity is that some more secret files were divulged from Sims 4 Studio. The program was purposely created by fans to provide update and further let gamers to datamine deeper through The Sims 4 files.

The program recently revealed a list of amazing items that generally has to do with the rumored pets expansion pack for "The Sims 4."  It reveals a list containing various animal body parts and also includes details that would enable a kind of "Create a Pet" customization option for players. It is reported that the animal body parts include Ears, Tail, Fur Ears, Fur Tail and Fur Body. The leaked secret codes were retrieved in the sim_info_types Python file.

Unfortunately, the reported theory revealed no indication that horses will be part of "The Sims 4" pets expansion pack, which could be agreeable as the core enum -list of named values that contains all species does not include horses, according to Techvicity. The Simscommunity also relate that Maxis recently introduced toddlers to the "The Sims 4" that has XML code pointing to a Pets expansion pack, but nothing interesting though.

However, some reports states that it is also possible that the leaked code is not yet complete. It is also likely that the inclusion of horses might have been the initial plan but was later scrapped and thus, could not make it to the final plan.  Currently, there are no further updates with regards to other pet for "The Sims 4," the only pets revealed in the datamined file are cats and dogs. The only thing fans should do is to sit back and see what update follows.
