"American Horror Story" Season 7 will revolve around the 2016 presidential elections. The show's producers have teased that the show will tap into the recent elections and the current political situation. The next season will also explore how every season is connected to each other in a mind-blowing way.
The show's writers haven't revealed a lot about the "American Horror Story" Season 7 theme, but creator Ryan Murphy did tell E! News that the series will include a nod to the recent presidential elections. The show has already covered classic horror settings and tropes like a carnival freakshow, witches, a haunted house, and a creepy hotel to name a few.
It's hard to imagine how "American Horror Story" Season 7 will deliver a political or presidential elections theme through its medium. "Anybody who voted in the last election will very much enjoy what it's about," Murphy said. He didn't explain it, but he did say that it will be a modern story.
