With summer on its way, fans are getting giddy to hear new updates on "Game of Thrones" Season 7. So far, fans have been told that the new season will be mind-blowing and that some of the characters may not make it out alive at the end. More recently, actor Alfie Allen gave a sneak peek into what his character, Theon Greyjoy, will be up to in the new season.
Theon had a tough time until "Game of Thrones" Season 6, when he was finally escaped from the cruel Ramsay Bolton and managed to make his way home to the Iron Islands. The last fans saw Theon was when he sailed away from Iron Islands with his sister Yara, narrowly escaping the execution order imposed against them by their uncle Euron.
In "Game of Thrones" Season 7, Allen told CinemaBlend that Theon continues his striving partnership with his sister. "He's kind of just in a duel partnership with his sister. Anything that she puts on the table, he's gonna give her advice on, but at the same time, I'd say we're definitely kind of rooting for Daenerys at this point, without a doubt," Allen said.
In "Game of Thrones" Season 6, the Greyjoys forged an alliance with Daenerys in exchange for helping the siblings dethrone their uncle Euron and take back the Salt Throne. They also promised that the Iron Islands will acknowledge Daenerys' claim to the Iron Throne as well as provide her with 100 ships to help her cause.
"It's gonna be a crazy season. It's definitely going to blow a lot of people's minds," Allen teased to Mashable. Jacob Anderson, who plays Grey Worm on the HBO series, said that the show now feels like a "pressure cooker" and that everything is "just absolute chaos."
Meanwhile, Allen is also joining the cast of Fox's upcoming movie "The Predator." According to IGN, Allen will portray a former Marine. No further details have been revealed about the character.
"The Predator" also stars Boyd Holbrook as the lead, starring alongside Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Thomas Jane, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan Michael Key and Trevante Rhodes.
