Katy Perry Reportedly Dating John Mayer After Orlando Bloom Split?

Merely days after announcing her breakup with Orlando Bloom, Katy Perry was reportedly heard chatting with John Mayer, who also happens to be her ex-boyfriend. Is Perry considering getting back with her former flame?

Every little change in the behavior of the "Chained To The Rhythm" singer is pointing towards her reunion with an ex-lover. "HOW BOUT A NEW WAY OF THINKING FOR 2017," Perry tweeted out to her fans on March 2. "U can still b friends & love ur former partners! No one's a victim or a villain, get a life y'all!"

The aforementioned tweet was sent out less than 48 hours after Perry, along with the "Pirates Of The Caribbean" actor, broke the news to US Weekly that they were going to take a break from their relationship. The mutual and amicable split came as a shock to many Perry and Bloom shippers, who had no idea what could have brought on the need for space for the love birds.

Nevertheless, it seems that Katy Perry isn't too heartbroken about the decision to separate from Bloom. Is it because she has John Mayer to comfort her?

Even Mayer's new album "The Search For Everything" gives a subtle shout out to a certain ex, who might be making her way back into his life. One particular song from the album called "Still Feel Like Your Man," is as self-explanatory as it gets. With lyrics like "I still keep your shampoo in my shower, in case you wanna wash your hair" it is safe to say that Mayer is not fooling anyone.

Moreover, even though Perry's split from Mayer was attributed to infidelity on the part of her the then man, she always spoke of him in high regard. "He literally is a genius, as is evident from his songwriting," she told Billboard. "I've been a fan of John's for years before I actually got to kiss him."

Hence, it would not be surprising if Katy Perry was planning to get back together with John Mayer again. Does this mean that Orlando Bloom is out of her life for good?
