Demi Lovato has finally reacted to the claim that she was victimized by the nude photograph of her leaked online on March 21. Instead of condemning the incident, the singer shrugged it off as a casual occurring which she does not need to bother over.
Demi Lovato almost broke the internet when news of her nude photograph is being circulated online hit the tabloids. People frantically started searching for the controversial picture, which was claimed to have been released without the consent of Lovato. However, all that turned up was a slightly revealing photograph of Lovato, dressed in a partially unzipped sweatshirt, Refinery 29 reports.
Fans of the "Stone Cold" singer were waiting for a reaction from their idol regarding the recent controversy. While they did get a reaction eventually, it was not the one they were hoping for. "I love how everyone's freaking out about one picture," Demi Lovato tweeted, followed by a "tears of laughter" emoji. "It's not nude and it's just cleavage."
"Besides the world has seen me nude BY CHOICE before," added Lovato, appearing to shrug off the incident as not a big deal. This is because she has shown way more skin in a Vanity Fair cover in 2012, which, obviously, was done with her consent. Hence, it was hilarious to Demi Lovato that people would make such a fuss over her baring just a little when she has already put out far more revealing pictures in the past, Pop Crush reports.
Even though Demi Lovato might not have been seriously victimized this time, there was a time when several of her nude pictures were leaked online by a group of hackers. They illegally gained access to the computer of Lovato's the then boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, extracted a bunch of compromising pictures of the former Disney star and posted the online.
It is not yet clear whether Demi Lovato plans to file a complaint to track down the culprit who posted the latest semi-nude photograph. For now, the singer seems to have swept the incident under the rug.
