The set of "Empire" Season 3 has turned into some sort of a battlefield according to reports. Cast members Taraji P. Henson and Nia Long were reported to be at odds with each other that shooting some scenes proved to be tricky.
The "Empire" Season 3 cast members, who play roles that are at odds with each other in the series, were reported to be not in good terms in real life as well. According to Daily Mail, the situation between Taraji P. Henson and Nia Long became so toxic that producers even considered filming their scenes separately.
The publication reported that it started when Nia Long acted rudely to some of the "Empire" Season 3 crew. According to the report, the actress was "extreme disrespectful" to the hair and make-up crew that even they had to lodge an official complaint.
It was reported that Nia Long's antics did not please Taraji P. Henson. According to the report, it even came to the point that both "Empire" Season 3 actresses were no longer speaking with each other, which prompted the producers to even consider filming their scenes separately.
In fact, it appears the even the showrunners are fed up with Nia Long's antics. Citing an unnamed source, TMZ reported that the actress will no longer be picked up for "Empire" Season 4.
However, these rumors are officially denied by Nia Long's camp. A rep for the actress described the talks as "complete nonsense." The rep explained that the actress' established career is proof that she is incapable of doing those things as she is a professional and has always been respectful of the production crew.
