Nicki Minaj has always been known to take risks when it comes to fashion. It seems like her bold and edgy fashion picks have finally paid off as Wilhelmina Models (celebrity division), one of the top modeling agencies, has signed a contract with her.

Vogue broke the news (and apparently the internet) that Nicki Minaj has signed a modeling deal with Wilhelmina Models. Everyone knew that Minaj loves experimenting with fashion, but no one had any inclination that she is seriously considering to make a profession out of it.

"I love the synergy between my music and how it inspires my fashion," Nicki Minaj told the news outlet. "My message is always celebrating your own style. I'm thrilled and honored to have signed with Wilhelmina-they get me."

The 32-year-old singer re-posted the news on her Instagram page, keeping the caption a nonchalant one. "Oh yeah that too," she wrote, "Honored to be at Wilhelmina." The "Anaconda" singer's excitement must be through the roof since the particular modeling agency is known to have signed deals with celebrities like Chris Brown, Iggy Azalea, Leona Lewis, Keri Hilson and Karrueche Tran in the past. Stars like Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas have ongoing contracts with the esteemed agency, Billboard reports.

Wilhelmina Models is also clearly thrilled to have the singer aboard on their fashionista lineup as they, too, shared the news with a picture of a bejeweled Nicki Minaj on their Instagram page. Minaj turned heads in the Paris Fashion Week recently when she recreated unique fashion statements from the old times. The most shocking outfit was no doubt the one sleeve black jacket look that completely exposed one-half of her bosom.

Even though composing music, performing at concerts and participating in photo shoots might become too much to handle for some, Nicki Minaj is ready to tackle it all. She will surely be bringing her own style in the world of fashion.
