Kim Kardashian Can't Get Pregnant With Baby No.3 With Kanye West; Looking Into Using Surrogate

Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West may be planning to expand their family into a family of five. Already parents to North and Saint, the power couple are preparing for baby number three which unfortunately could be fatal for the 36 year old Kim. While pregnant with North, she suffered from multiple issues which include preeclampsia and placenta accreta.

In a trailer of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” Kim Kardashian revealed that she is planning to get pregnant again. But, her previous pregnancy complications are making her consider using a surrogate. According to E News, Kim said, “I want my kids to have siblings, but the doctors don’t feel like it’s safe for me.”

In one episode, Kris Jenner accompanied Kim Kardashian to talk to her doctor, Dr. Crane, about the possible health risks of a third pregnancy for her. The doctor said that Kim may have the same type of problems that could be more serious than before. He said that a retained placenta could mean life or death. Kris expressed her worry that her daughter could bleed to death.

Kim Kardashian later asked a second opinion from another fertility specialist, Dr. Wong. He said that due to the high risks that a third pregnancy could create, Kim should consider using a surrogate. In her interview, Kim revealed that she has to listen to the two doctors, who she trusted. She is, however, not open to surrogacy.

This is because Kim Kardashian fears that if she used a surrogate, she might not love the baby the same way according to People. She feels that having gone through carrying the baby and the pain of childbirth, she has a strong bond with her two children. Kim was able to talk to Natalie, a mother who both gave birth to a child and used a surrogate. She assured Kim that she never felt differently with her kids because each had his own way of coming into her life.

The episode ended with Kim Kardashian accepting the fact that she can’t carry another child and wanted to explore surrogacy. Kris Jenner then expressed her fear that the surrogate might take the baby from her. Kim assured her that it will never happen and told her what the best thing about surrogacy is. She and Kanye West could have a new baby and no one will know. They could take a year before they even announce it.
