The Kardashians are showering Kendall Jenner with all the support she needs these days. The recent Pepsi ad controversy seems to have left the supermodel in shock. She is still upset about the backlash the ad has received.

According to Just Jared, the 21-year-old model has found refuge in her family. Sources have revealed that the Kardashian-Jenner clan has rallied to help their sister get through. Kendall has also decided to lay low until things get calmer.

As fans know, Pepsi released a commercial last week that saw Kendall Jenner handing a Pepsi to a cop. This wasn't the issue for most. Instead, fans seemed to be offended that the model handed the drink to the police in the middle of people protesting.

The Pepsi ad has since gained negative reviews and comments from both fans and critics. The company has admitted that it "missed the mark" with the commercial. However, this has not kept fans from sending some shade to Kendall for agreeing to do the spot.

On the other hand, Kendall Jenner has also received support from her family and friends. Some fans have also come to her defense. For some fans, the model was only doing her job and what she was told to do. Pepsi has taken down the controversial spot.

Meanwhile, "Saturday Night Live" has created a parody of the controversial Pepsi ad. According to Variety, the show seemed to answer the question about what made the commercial a huge controversy. Cast member Beck Bennett acted as if he was trying to get a second opinion from his sister over the phone.

Bennett tries to convince his sister that the Pepsi ad was supposed to pay homage to the cultures coming together through protesting. He added that it was supposed to be reminiscent of the Black Lives Matter movement. However, the sister disagrees. Bennett later gets the point that the spot may be speaking of how the company is using the protest theme to sell soda.
