The multiple Grammy Awards, Rihanna, winner debuts her first ever 'high-end' jewelry collection in Instagram. The singer collaborated with Swiss jeweler, Chopard co-president, and creative director Caroline Scheufele.
Since 2015, the singer has already a desire to start up her own business since she launched the beauty styling agency, Fr8me. Now, Rihanna has teamed up with the luxurious jewelry shop Chopard, to introduce her first-ever jewelry line.
The full collection will be showcased during the 70th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival in May including the nine-piece ‘high-end’ capsule collection with price starts at $1,460. Rihanna jewelry collection includes a necklace for £7,780, a bangle for £2,780, earrings for £2,940 and a diamond ear clips and chandelier earrings with prices for bid. It is the collection called ‘Rihanna Loves Chopard’ as reported by NME.
It will also include ‘joaillerie and haute joaillerie’ which is a combination of urban chic and classic glamor multi-colored chandelier earrings and a marquise-cut diamond solitaire ring similar to the one she wore at this year's 59th Grammy Awards. This extravagant trademark is to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Chopard as the official partner of the Cannes Film Festival. ‘Rihanna Loves Chopard’ is already available for pre-order and will be officially released on May 17th, 2017.
The world-renowned singer and fashion icon have personally used this brand of jewelry over the years and she didn’t hide her enthusiasm for finally working with the team. Rihanna wears Chopard jewelry on the red carpet and modeled very recently at Harper’s Bazaar cover a pair of transformable diamond earrings. Those will also be showcased to the upcoming Cannes Film as reported by Billboard.
Rihanna uses “Fair-mined” gold for her exquisite jewelry line. Most of her designs are also inspired by her home country and it features exotic floral designs and vibrant, Carnival-style colored gemstones matching the brand's theme. There will be 2,000 varieties of jewelry to be available and with this partnership with the singer, Chopard is anticipating a sell-out of their products.
