"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" star Zoe Saldana may have accidentally revealed the title for "Avengers 4." The actress blurted out "Gauntlet" when asked about Gamora's next appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Saldana said the heroes in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" are set to return later this year for "Avengers 4." According to Slashfilm, the actress said she along with the rest of the casts in James Gunn's film, will "go back for Gauntlet" since they have already done their part for the first "Avengers: Infinity War" film.
Fans were immediately led to believe that Saldana may have accidentally revealed that the "Avengers 4" title is "Infinity Gauntlet." However, Gunn clarified and said that the actress may have misspoken. "I'll talk to Zoë today, but I would imagine that is just Zoë misspeaking and saying Infinity Gauntlet instead of Infinity War," Gunn told Yahoo.
It would be no spoiler if the "Avengers 4" title is indeed "Infinity Gauntlet." After all, the storyline in the "Infinity War" films focuses on Thanos (Josh Brolin) and his quest to retrieve the Infinity Gems. He wants the stones to power his gauntlet so he can control the entire universe.

Perhaps the first "Avengers: Infinity War" film centers on Thanos and his search for the Infinity Stones. The Avengers, on the other hand, rally to stop the Mad Titan from getting his hands on the gems. "Avengers 4" or "Infinity Gauntlet" would probably focus on the heroes unable to defeat Thanos.
It would explain why the title for "Avengers 4" is kept secret, because as Kevin Feige said it is a spoiler. Interestingly, "Infinity Gauntlet" has one of the most popular storylines in the Marvel comics. Revealing the title to the public is, of course, a spoiler, since it gives fans an idea what happens in the movie.
