The "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Finale is going to be very emotional and dramatic. Executive producer Debbie Allen revealed that the final episode ends with two big events that will leave everyone anticipating Season 14 since it ends in multiple cliffhangers.
The "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Finale is going to be particularly devastating. The last episode ends in a big way, according to Allen. "There's actually two events going on at the same time that is pretty big that affect the entire hospital community," Allen told Entertainment Weekly when asked to break down what happens in the final episode.
Allen declined to reveal what these two events are but hinted that it involves the relationships of the characters. She talked about Alex (Justin Chambers) having to make a hard decision about his relationship with Jo. This may have something to do with the arrival of Jo's husband, whom Matthew Morrison is rumored to portray. Photos emerged online showing Chambers shooting scenes with the "Glee" alum supposedly for the "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Finale.
However, what is more, intriguing is the revelation of the several cliffhangers in the "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Finale. Allen said these cliffhangers "plant more seeds that fuel the fire for what is going to happen" in Season 14.
Allen's revelation chimes in with what stars Chandra Wilson (Miranda Bailey) and Jessica Capshaw said about the "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Finale. According to Pop Sugar, Wilson said the episode has a "bigger ending" than the previous finales. She also teased that it is going to be "loud and strong." Meanwhile, Capshaw (Dr. Arizona Robbins) said the "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Finale is going to be explosive.
Speculations are rife that this explosion has something to do with a fire that happens at Grey Sloan Memorial. This fire leads to a character's death in the "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Finale. Interestingly, the finale is titled "Ring of Fire" and a photo emerged online showing a fire truck on standby on the set.
