The ending of "Dragon Ball Super" has finally been revealed way before its final episode airs. It's not surprising that the series will have a very "familiar" end. This is because the show displays some plots close to "Dragon Ball Z."
"Dragon Ball Super" illustrator Toyotaro recently revealed what the team has planned for the anime's ending. According to Saiyan Island, Toyotaro said they want an ending that's close to the "original 'Dragon Ball Z' ending." Fans of the long-running anime know this story very well.
"Dragon Ball Z" ended with Son Goku being a very unheroic superhero. The debate about him being a true hero has always been up on forums. Some believe he doesn't deserve to be the hero of "Dragon Ball Super." By the end of the anime, fans may finally be convinced that he isn't the hero we all once loved.
This is because "Dragon Ball Z" saw Goku leaving his family. He did this all for the sake of training with a kid named Uub. He is the human incarnation of the amazing Majin Buu. This ending for "Dragon Ball Super" will surely raise another slew of debates if Goku is a pure-hearted hero. A lot of fans do not like the idea of him leaving his family for training.
Meanwhile, "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 89 will see Goku trying to get Tien Shinhan and Master Roshi a visit. He wants them to join Team Universe 7 for the Tournament of Power. However, it appears that they aren't interested.
As for "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 90, Goku and Gohan will be in a tag-team match against each other. According to Comic Book, Gohan will challenge his own father. Gohan will team up with Piccolo while Goku and Tien Shinhan will be partners.
The highly anticipated tag-team match will air May 14. Stay tuned for more "Dragon Ball Super" spoilers and updates.
