J. Cole promised fans that he would have better marketing for his sophomore album, "Born Sinner," and the "Power Trip" producer/rapper has been following up on his word. Cole and his team released Part One of the "Born Sinner" documentary series; an audio slide show starring J. Cole's mother, Kay Cole, last week. Now the second installment starring his good friend Kendrick Lamar is up next.

In the "Born Sinner" documentary series part two Kendrick Lamar talks about fame, the influence of gangsta rap, and how he fell in love with music. Kendrick recounted a story of when his parents where bringing him home from the hospital as a newborn. Kendrick's father was playing Big Daddy Kane and his mother asked him to turn it off. His dad told her, "Don't worry about it...He's going to be listening to music at home, when he grows up and forever."

Kendrick's audio slide show is emotional, honest, and upfront. The "Good Kid M.A.D.D. City" rapper takes people on his road of personal reflection as he contemplates what he wants out of his career and how to maintain a balance in the hip-hop industry.
