“NCIS: New Orleans” Season 3 will have its finale next Tuesday titled “Poetic Justice.” In it, the NCIS team will call in the FBI to help them expose the mayor as there is no one in New Orleans they can trust. Will viewers see the end of Mayor Hamilton (Steven Weber) and his sinister scheme?
According to the synopsis of the “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 3 finale by The Futon Critic, Agent Pride (Scott Bakula) and his team will ask the help of Assistant Director Isler (Derek Webster) to help stop what Mayor Hamilton has planned for the Clearwater residents once and for all.
They need the FBI since taking down a high ranking official is extremely difficult.
The no-good mayor’s corruption has long been a sore spot for Pride according to TV Guide. But, he had enough of the mayor when he locked up Percy (Shalita Grant) on trumped-up charges and ordered digital wiz Patton (Daryll “Chill” Mitchell) to stay offline. Pride acts out of character as he appears to be cracking under the pressure and suddenly making rash and emotional decisions. The “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 3 final episode will see the climax of the two men’s final showdown.
According to “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 3 spoilers, fans can expect another cliffhanger from the season finale. Meanwhile, EP Chris Silber recently shared that the consequences of Pride’s going after Mayor Hamilton will be answered next season. It also remains to be seen if he will be able to regain the respect of his team members and even his self respect if he indeed achieves his mission.
Silber also teased that viewers can expect new guests to come in and also some of their old favorites. Among the possible characters returning are Gregorio’s ex McKinley (Ed Quinn) and the one Tom Arnold played. The “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 3 finale will air on Tuesday, May 16, on CBS.
