Following the news that The CW renewed eight shows for the 2015-16 season, it seems that now CBS is stepping up to the plate to announce that three of its shows have gotten the pickup. While CW has picked up shows like "Arrow," "The Vampire Diaries" and "Supernatural," it also picked up freshman series "Jane the Virgin" and "The Flash." CBS followed in the same path and announced that three of their newbie shows would be returning, including "Madame Secretary," "NCIS: New Orleans" and "Scorpion." According to "E! News," the decision seemed like a no-brainer for the network, as the shows are ranked as the Nos.1, and 3 most-watched dramas on broadcast TV during this season. "NCIS: New Orleans" takes the top honor, as the Scott Bakula-, Lucas Black- and Zoe McLellan-led drama has averaged 18.1 million viewers during its first season. "Madame Secretary" has actress Téa Leoni to thank for its No. 2 spot as it has averaged 14.9 million viewers through this season.
